Returning Students
You are considered a Returning Student if you have attended LTCC before but have missed two or more consecutive quarters.
If you previously enrolled in college and have earned some college credits, you might be closer to a degree than you think! For students interested in graduating with an Associate Degree, we offer dedicated support to help you from enrollment to graduation and beyond.

Step 1: Apply (opens in a new tab)
Sign in to your existing CCCApply account and start a new application — do not create a new account.
Step 2: Apply for Financial Aid
You might qualify for free tuition, work-study programs that allow you to work on campus, or low-interest financial aid loans. It's always worth applying.
If you are a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident, use the FAFSA application (opens in a new tab).
For undocumented, Dreamers, or DACA students, use the California Dream Act Application (opens in a new tab).
For questions about financial aid, contact América Ramírez at ramirez@ltcc.edu or call (530) 541-4660, ext. 237. Se habla español.
Meet with an academic advisor prior to re-registering for classes to create your Comprehensive Educational Plan. Your advisor will help you create a direct plan towards completing your associate degree. Having a clear path will allow you to explore your options, graduate faster, and avoid taking unnecessary classes.
Academic advisors can also help with a number of other topics like career exploration, transfer applications, transcript evaluations, personal matters, and much more.
Make an appointment through Cranium Cafe (opens in a new tab) using your LTCC login information. Counselors are available in person, via virtual appointments, or over the phone.
Step 4: Register for Classes (opens in a new tab)
Find the class times and locations that work for you using our Schedule of Classes.
To register for classes, login to Passport Self-Service Portal (opens in a new tab) and click "Student Planning" where you can plan your degree and register for classes.
If you have completed any course work at other accredited institutions, submit any previous official transcripts for evaluation. Submitting your official transcripts from prior institutions will ensure that you are credited for any prerequisites or course work already completed.
To Submit your Transcripts –
Please contact your previous institution(s) to have your official transcripts sent to LTCC.

CCCApply Verification
To apply to LTCC or other California Community Colleges, students use the CCCApply online system. When students create or log in to a CCCApply account, they may be prompted to verify their identity through ID.me or the CA DMV Wallet. We recommend that all new and returning adult students complete this ID verification before submitting their application. Skipping the verification step could result in your application being flagged as spam, which may delay admissions or access to financial aid.
As noted on the CCCApply website, "some students might have trouble verifying their identity with a third party like ID.me if someone doesn't have a permanent address, social security number, or taxpayer number, if there are issues with identity theft, if someone is under 18 years old, or some other reason." Applicants under 18 will be reviewed and verified using a separate process.
If your application is marked as SPAM, please return to your CCCApply account to verify your identity. Once logged in, select the "Edit My Account" button then select Verify with ID.me Now or Verify with CA DMV Wallet. Please reach out to Enrollment Services once you have verified your identity.
