Community Play Consortium 

About

The Lake Tahoe Community College District and the City of South Lake Tahoe have established a Joint Power Authority to be known as the Community Play Consortium (CPC) for the purpose of improving, maintaining, and jointly administering real property and recreational facilities available to Lake Tahoe public education entities and members of the Lake Tahoe community. 

 

Available Fields & Rates

For this model, user groups are divided into three tiers:

  • Tier 1: Local youth programs, youth leagues, and LTCC students. Fees for this group are set below cost because the community benefit for this type of use exceeds the individual benefit of the participants.
  • Tier 2: Non-profit adult programs, adult tournaments, paid-admission youth tournaments, camps, special events, and/or fundraisers. Fees for this group are set close to or below cost because there are high amounts of both community and individual benefit.
  • Tier 3: For-profit use. Fees for this group are set above cost because the individual benefit for the participants of this group exceeds the community benefit.  

 

Synthetic Turf Field 

Size: Near maximum FIFA (world standard for pro soccer)Soccer Field

Synthetic turf:

1. Highest quality and closest to natural grass feel available.
2. Turf infill is 100% organic. Made of an exclusive mixture of cork, coconut, and natural binders.
3. Turf system is long lasting and plays very fast, with minimal skin injuries due to slides and falls.
 

Field Amenities:

1. Covered/protected team and Officials benches.
2. State-of-the-art scoreboard with digital video and audio system.
3. Field lighting
 
Rates:
 

Tier 1: $50/hour

Tier 2: $90/hour

Tier 3: $302/hour

Seasonal Rate: Tier 1 and Tier 2 groups booking a minimum of 100 hours will receive a 15% discount

Additional Rental: Scoreboard and/or Snack Shack (must have turf field booked for a minimum of 6 hours)

 

 Grass Fields 1 & 2 

Grass fields are now open.

CPC Grass Fields

      Rates:

Tier 1: $25/hour

Tier 2: $45/hour

Tier 3: $119/hour

Seasonal Rate: Tier 1 and Tier 2 groups booking a minimum of 100 hours will receive a 15% discount

Additional Rental: Snack Shack (must have at least one grass field booked for a minumum of 6 hours)

 

Special Events: Special events are charged the hourly rate for the duration of field use including set-up and take-down. Additional fees for reservation of other facility uses (e.g. Main Parking Lot) may apply.
