Active Project

Tahoe Basin Public Safety Training Complex

Lake Tahoe Community College is building the Tahoe Basin’s first in-basin training facility for emergency responders in fire, forestry, emergency medical services, and wilderness education.

Scheduled to open in 2027, the facility will expand access to training, reduce the need for travel outside the Basin, and support public safety careers across the region.

Active Project

Trout Creek Meadow Restoration

Lake Tahoe Community College is partnering with the Tahoe Resource Conservation District and the Washoe Tribe to restore a 20-acre meadow on college property, improving ecosystem health and biodiversity.

The project supports long-term environmental stewardship while recognizing the cultural significance of the land and honoring Washoe Tribe history in the Tahoe Basin.
