Student Ambassadors

Student Ambassadors at Lake Tahoe Community College provide assistance during registration periods by presenting information, directions and referrals to all new and continuing students during pre-registration and through the first week of classes each quarter. Student Ambassadors also conduct campus tours for prospective and new students. Our amazing team represents the college as students and leaders in outreach efforts and campus-wide special events throughout the academic year. Ashley (She, Her)

Hello everyone, my name is Ashley. I was born and raised here in South Lake Tahoe. I'm currently a full-time student at LTCC majoring in Kinesiology and hoping to obtain my AA degree and transfer to a four-year university. If you didn't know, Emerald Bay was formed by a glacier. Go Coyotes!

Erica (She, Her)

Hi! My name is Erica. I'm from Ceres, California, and I'm currently majoring in Kinesiology. I am also on LTCC's women's soccer team. I love to exercise and read as well as study. My goal is to transfer to a UC or a university out of state.

Jenni (She, Her)

Hello, my name is Jenni. I was born and raised in Tahoe. My goal is to become an Ultrasound Technician. I am a student athlete, and I play with LTCC's women's soccer team. My favorite season is summer. I love biking, sunsets, long walks, and shopping in my free time apart from playing soccer.

Hi, my name is Zamany. I was born and raised in South Lake Tahoe and my major is Communications. My goal is to transfer to San Francisco State University. I am also the Mental Wellness Ambassador and President of the Active Minds student club. In my free time, I enjoy all forms of art and being outdoors!

Javi (He, Him)

Hello, my name is Javi and I was born and raised in South Lake Tahoe. I'm a South Tahoe graduate and this is my first year at LTCC as a full-time student. My major is business and I plan to transfer to UCSD and study International Business. I love the outdoors, especially spending my winter on the mountains and summer at the lakes. If you ever need any help, I'm located at the Student Life Office.

Student Ambassador Responsibilities:

• Participation in all mandatory Student Ambassador trainings and meetings
• Provide assistance to new and continuing students during pre-registration and the first week of classes each quarter, to include assistance in: online applications; registering for courses; providing directions to offices and classrooms; providing referrals to counselors; financial aid, admissions and records, and other support staff; disseminating various forms and information
• Participate in outreach activities, including those focused on high school students
• Provide assistance with campus-wide events that are coordinated by Student Services
