EOPS/CARE/NextUp

The Extended Opportunity Program and Service (EOPS) program at Lake Tahoe Community College is committed to promoting student success by providing additional financial assistance and "above and beyond" support services to educationally and economically disadvantaged students. EOPS is dedicated to providing eligible students with the additional assistance they may need to reach their academic and career goals.

CARE is an extension of the EOPS program designed for single parents of children under the age of 14 who are receiving CalWORKs/TANF. The program provides additional financial assistance and resources to qualifying students by way of programs specially tailored to the needs of CARE students.
