Hybrid
There are some LTCC courses that cannot be entirely duplicated in an online virtual format. These typically involve courses where receiving and demonstrating hands-on knowledge and training are required. These courses usually involve public safety work and are often found in the Allied Health, Fire and EMT, and Wilderness Education and Outdoor Leadership departments. Other courses in Culinary Arts, 3D Arts, and the various sciences also have offerings in a hybrid format in order for students to practice key hands-on skills.
The face-to-face components of these hybrid courses will only be provided if they meet current state and federal guidelines regarding COVID-19. Hybrid classes will have limited student participation in a face-to-face format at a single point in time to increase safety. Campus labs will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized regularly. Many labs will also take place outdoors.
