Foundation Honors Outstanding Faculty Members
Business instructor Treva Thomas, math and physics instructor Bruce Armbrust, and adjunct instructor Jenna Palacio are all being honored for their outstanding work in the classroom and their dedication to LTCC's students. Thomas was chosen by her fellow faculty members as the Distinguished Faculty Award winner for 2017. Palacio was also selected by faculty members as Adjunct Instructor of the Year. Armbrust was tapped by LTCC's students as their choice for Teacher of the Year.

Olympian is Keynote Speaker at 2017 Commencement
The theme of this year's ceremony is "Follow Your Dreams," a topic that will be addressed by Jamie Anderson, Olympic gold medalist snowboarder and South Lake Tahoe native.

LTCC Honors Longtime Local Dentist with Distinguished Alumni Award
The Lake Tahoe Community College Foundation is pleased to announce that longtime local dentist Dr. Deanna Brothers will be the recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award at this year's Commencement ceremony on Friday, June 30 on the college's soccer field. Each year, LTCC's Foundation recognizes one special alumnus to receive this prestigious award for their exemplary achievements in their particular endeavors in life.
