New to Canvas?
Canvas provides an online classroom with tools for accessing lectures, assignments, and tests, depending on what your instructors choose to use. It also provides access to 24/7 subject-specific tutoring, among other free support services.
A modern computer with updated web browsers (Chrome, Firefox; Safari poses issues) and an Internet connection is all you need.

New to Zoom (aka, ConferZoom)?
Zoom is web conferencing software that allows you to meet as a class or individually with your teacher over the Internet. Meetings are sometimes recorded and available for later viewing.
Within Canvas: Some teachers will direct you to access Zoom meetings from within your Canvas course. Look in the course navigation for the link to ConferZoom.
Outside of Canvas: Your teacher may send a link for a Zoom meeting to you through email. If they do, click on the link before the meeting is scheduled to start to join. You may be prompted to download the Zoom application.
