South Tahoe Earth Day Festival
Celebrate our beautiful planet and learn how to contribute to its healthy future this Earth Day! The South Tahoe Earth Day Festival takes place on the campus of Lake Tahoe Community College this year, from 10am-3pm on Saturday, April 22. This free community event is fun, educational, and provides plenty of engagement and entertainment for the whole family!
Meet with organizations and entities from around the Tahoe Basin and learn how they're helping to keep our region green. Learn all sorts of ways that you and your family can contribute to reducing carbon emissions, trash, and pollution. Expect a lot of fun and educational games, free prizes, and a great time!
LTCC is located at One College Drive off of Al Tahoe Blvd. in the heart of South Lake Tahoe. Free parking is available on campus, across the street at Bijou Park, and in the Community Playfield lot accessible from Al Tahoe Blvd. and located adjacent to LTCC's synthetic turf soccer field. For more information, please visit www.ltcc.edu or call us at (530) 541-4660.
We need event volunteers! If you'd like to help with set-up, staffing the information desk, helping at the Kid Zone, being a greeter, or overseeing the recycling area, we'd love to hear from you! All volunteers who contribute at least 2 hours of their time to this event get a free lunch voucher. To sign up, visit https://southtahoeearthday.org/volunteer.
