Coyote Career Day
Connect with working professionals and get your career on track! Save the date for Coyote Career Day, where interested students can meet with representatives from a number of industries and learn how to carve out a successful career! Practice your job interviewing skills, attend free workshops to help you prep for a job search, and explore different fields and areas of interest and get practical advice on how to crack into them!
Takes place Tuesday, June 6 on LTCC's campus from 10am-3:15pm in various locations (Board/Aspen Rooms in the library building, the library itself, and the Lisa Maloff University Center). Free food will be provided, and students can earn raffle entries for each event they attend and be eligible for a fabulous prize!
10am-11am Coffee & Connect, Aspen/Board Room (free breakfast and padfolio/pen for all participants): An informal meeting where students can practice their networking and interviewing skills. Students will be given prompts as conversation topics. Network with community members and learn about careers.
11:15am-12:15pm Interview Practice & Resume Review, Board/Aspen Room (participants get $25 Amazon gift cards): Sign up for 15-minute time blocks to practice interviewing for jobs and to get feedback on resumes (bring a copy with you!). Drop-ins are welcome if there's availability.
12:30pm-2pm Lunch & HR Presentation on Best Interview Practices, Board/Aspen Room (free catered lunch): Learn best interview practices from LTCC's friendly HR staff.
2:15pm-3:15pm Career Workshops (participants get $25 Amazon gift cards): Choose from workshops on Career Advising for Students & Family Members With Conviction Records (in the Board/Aspen Room); Crafting Your Personal Mission Statement or Finding & Applying to Internships (in the Lisa Maloff University Center).
