Operationalizing Student Equity: Building Safe Spaces for Black Student Success
LTCC is celebrating Black History Month throughout February with a series of free and engaging events meant to shine a light on black history, to enlighten about past and current contributions to American society and culture, and share and spread cultural awareness campus-wide.
All are welcome to hear keynote speaker Dr. Eric Handy discuss how colleges can create sacred, safe spaces for students of color, including black students. He'll be in the Duke Theatre Thursday, Feb. 23 from 10am-11am. This is a free event, and all are welcome!
