Celebrate the planet and all its exquisite beauty this Earth Day! The Sierra Nevada Alliance invites all to LTCC's Duke Theatre on Friday, April 22 at 6pm for the Wild & Scenic Film Festival. You'll enjoy award-winning environmental and adventure films that promote activism and involvement in protecting Earth. Get inspired to take action on issues that impact our environment!

Featured films include The Beast of Our Time, about the interactions among humans, grizzly bears, and climate change. Filmmaker Molly Armanino will also be on hand to share and talk about her film, Amend, about an avid freeskier turned climate activist. Another film from the Bear Yuba Land Trust called A Wild Independence will also be shown. It follows Alden Olmsted on the Independence Trail as he traces his father John's footsteps to rebuild the first wheelchair nature trail in the country.

Tickets to the Sierra Nevada Alliance's Wild & Scenic Film Festival can be purchased online at https://qudio.com/event/sierranevadaalliance-2022. The doors open at 5pm at the Duke Theatre on April 22 to see the films in person. Films can be watched virtually as well, with the "doors" open to on-demand viewing on April 22 starting at 10pm through April 27.
