What does it mean to be an ally to the undocumented in our community and country? Join a "real talk" discussion with LTCC's campus community about how to offer meaningful support to undocumented people, and why it matters. Come prepared to share your views and personal experiences to promote a better understanding of current issues as they relate to undocumenteds and Dreamers. All are welcome to this virtual discussion on Monday Oct. 19 from 12pm-1pm - to join, go to https://bit.ly/EquityZoom
This is one of a series of free events LTCC is hosting to mark Undocumented Student Action Week from October 19-23. This is a system-wide effort now in its fourth year, recognizing that California Community Colleges serve the largest number of undocumented students in the state, and is fully committed to serving ALL students, regardless of immigration status. During this week, LTCC joins all California community colleges in sharing crucial and updated information, providing tools for advocacy, and support resources for our undocumented students, in solidarity with undocumented students throughout our state.
