Intensive Spanish Summer Institute (ISSI) in Beautiful South Lake Tahoe!
August 4-8, 2014 (Registration for new & returning students starts June 5, 2014)
The Intensive Spanish Summer Institute (ISSI) is a one-week Spanish immersion experience in beautiful South Lake Tahoe. This highly successful program is recognized by the California Community College Board of Governors as an outstanding community college program. ISSI is for anyone interested in learning Spanish, from high school age on up. You'll learn the Spanish language and culture with native Spanish-speaking instructors through 12 levels of language instruction, from Low-Beginning through High Superior, and 90 different cultural Break-Out sessions. Attend classes on grammar, cooking, history, dance, travel, conversation, literature and more, and earn up to 4 quarter units of credit in the process. Whether you are studying Spanish for career, college, or life-long learning, this program will provide the experience to meet your goals. Best of all, it's affordable! The cost for California residents in a 2.5 unit ISSI program is approximately $167, including a material fee (subject to change).
First Things First: All ISSI students must first either Apply or Update their application!
If you have not been enrolled at LTCC in the last two quarters, you need to update your application. It takes approximately 1-3 days for the application to update.

Step 2. Click on the orange "Apply Now" button on the top right to get started.
Step 3. Please allow 1-3 days from application submission to receive your student ID information and Passport login information. If you do not receive an email notification, check your “Junk Mail” email folder for it. Contact Admissions and Records at (530) 541-4660 ext. 211 if you do not receive this email.
Step 4. Once you have your student ID and Passport login information, you can register for ISSI courses by going to the Passport login page when registration begins. After logging in, click on "WebAdvisor" located on the right-hand column. Then click on "Register for Classes."
