| InternshipCareer Preparation/Academic Alignment/Exploratory An Internship is a quarterly academic program involving an on-the-job placement the student earns via preparation and interviews.A successful Internship is based on professionalism and performance to measurable work site learning objectives directly related to the student's career goals. If a student is interested in exploring careers, an internship can also provide this. Internships are usually non-paid (unless otherwise noted) and offer flexible hours to allow for the student's academic schedule. Key Reasons to do an Internship:

Note: The Internship office operates on a part-time basis and internship appointments must be scheduled. Plan to get started soon because an Internship can take weeks to coordinate. Internship Opportunities include (not limited to the following): Business (Social Media, Website, Management, Administrative, Marketing, Communications, Non-Profit), Environmental, Criminal Justice, Health and Fitness, Education, Fire and Forest and more. This listing can trigger additional ideas for students to work with the Instructor to customize their Internship experience. Some partners list more than one opportunity.
