Open Enrollment
Lake Tahoe Community College welcomes all high school graduates, and persons 18 years of age or older who no longer attend high school nor are high school graduates, but can benefit from the community college experience.
Open Enrollment It is the policy of the Lake Tahoe Community College District that, unless specifically exempted by statute, every course, course section or class, the enrollment of which is to be reported for state aid, whenever offered and maintained by the District, shall be fully open to enrollment and participation by any person who has been admitted to the College, and who meets such prerequisites as may be established pursuant to regulations contained in Article 2.5 (commencing with Section 55200) of Subchapter 1 of Chapter 1 of Division 6 of Title 5.
Admission Requirements Prospective students should visit the admission requirements page for additional information. Special requirements apply to international students and high school students applying for special admission.
