Important Registration Notice
ATTN: If you have filled out either a 2010-11 fee waiver (BOGFW) application or a 2010-11 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), and you are billed when you register for classes, please contact the Financial Aid Office, at (530) 541-4660 ext. 236 OR shaferL@ltcc.edu, to see if you are eligible for a fee waiver.

PROGRAM INFORMATION FOR INTERNSHIP

To prepare for Fall Quarter please review the following:

INTERNSHIP? Career / Academic Alignment / Exploratory

Fall Quarter program status will be determined Monday, September 13 (one week prior to the first day of the quarter). Students must interview with Instructor to determine eligibility.

Follow these two steps to get started:
1) Complete the Internship application located online at ltcc.edu under Academic Departments (or pick one up at Student Services). Obtain copies of transcripts and create a resume.

2) Next, call Student Services at ext. 231 to make an appointment with instructor to interview, review application, transcripts and resume.

Online Orientation and Program schedule will be posted Monday, Sept. 13 one week prior to the first day of Fall quarter. Interns must be pre-screened and interview for the program and once approved, will attend a mandatory Orientation.

Students applying for an internship must have a good academic record, and should have completed some of the courses required in their major or have the desire to take related classes.

Attention Employers:
If you are interested in an Intern, please take a few minutes to register. Simply log on to www.collegecentral.com/ltcc (copy and paste URL into browser) then click on the employer icon to post information about internship opportunities available at your organization.

ATTENTION:
For Fall Quarter, please check the online schedule of classes the week before Fall Quarter begins to see if the Internship program will be offered and for more information.

Be sure to bring copies of your current transcripts and a resume to your interview with instructor Tracy Owen Chapman.

Internship students must be interviewed and selected first by instructor and then by the employer prior to attending the quarterly mandatory orientation.
