LTCC is going green

The Fall 2010 schedule is just one way Lake Tahoe Community College is working to save resources and eliminate waste. You won’t find this schedule in your mailbox, and you might notice when you pick it up that it feels a little lighter.

Pages have been reduced thanks to a new streamlined look to the course listings. Also redundant information that is available here on the website, and in the college catalog has been eliminated. Students can still find full course descriptions by checking out the online schedule of classes or picking up a college catalog.

Not only are these changes saving the college money, and reducing the use of natural resources, it is allowing the college to put money back into our primary mission -- educating students.

You can help LTCC Go Green
We hope you use the printed schedule as a resource in planning your fall quarter at LTCC, but please be green and take only one. Or reduce your carbon footprint by viewing the schedule here. Simply click on the image of the schedule to see a PDF version. The printed schedule will be available on campus Aug. 16.

Financial Aid

Need money for college?  Then you've come to the right place.  The friendly staff in LTCC's Financial Aid office can help.

Application Process

A student must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to apply for most federal and state financial aid. Students who are only interested in a student loan are also required to complete the FAFSA.  No fee is charged for submitting a FAFSA.

Apply for FAFSA now

FAFSAs are available beginning on January 1 for the following academic year. The Lake Tahoe Community College school code is 012907.
You must complete a FAFSA once per school year.

If you do not wish to apply electronically, you may complete and mail to the government a paper copy of the FAFSA after downloading it from FAFSA on the Web.  Please note that completing a paper FAFSA extends the processing time for your financial aid.

Some aid is awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis, so it is important to apply early.

Additional documents will be mailed to you once we receive your application.  You must complete and return all requested documents in order for your financial aid to be processed.
