Our Mission
In today’s increasingly interconnected and complex world, no matter what area of study or future profession you choose, it will be necessary to be prepared to live and work in an intercultural environment. That is why it is the mission of the International Education Department at Lake Tahoe Community College to promote high-quality study abroad programs, enabling LTCC students and its community to be well-prepared members of a global society.

Through Lake Tahoe Community College’s Study Abroad Programs, students can learn a new language and culture, grow as an individual, increase self-confidence, and  explore the world, all while earning credit toward their degree.
