The foundation is the non-profit organization of the college.  Its mission is to work for educational excellence by assisting and encouraging investment in the development and growth of educational opportunities at LTCC.

  • Distinguished Alumni Award
    This annual award is based upon an alum’s (graduate or former student) exemplary achievement in his or her particular endeavor in life, which encompasses academic, business and professional and civic activities.  LTCC alumni may be nominated for the Distinguished Alumni Award five (5) years after their attendance at Lake Tahoe Community College. Only one person shall receive this award during a given year.  The deadline for next year's Distinguished Alumni is March 1, 2010. Nominations for this award can be made by any member of the LTCC faculty, staff, or general public. Click here to submit a nomination.

    Scholarships are provided by the Foundation for students continuing their studies at Lake Tahoe Community College or transferring to a four-year university.
     
  • Ways of Giving to the Foundation
    Anyone may give support to Lake Tahoe Community College in ways such as cash, charitable gift annunities, securities, gifts of real estate, life insurance, or deferred gifts and bequests.
