Free COVID Testing Jan. 18-20 for Students, Staff, Faculty

January 13, 2022

Weekly Testing Information Flier | Updated COVID-19 Protocols

LTCC is continuing to provide free, on-campus COVID testing for asymptomatic students, staff, and faculty from Tuesday through Thursday, January 18-20, 8am-1:45pm each day in the Aspen Room (library building). Staff and faculty are required to test at least once. While students are not required to test, they are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this free testing to better protect themselves and others as the Omicron variant spreads rapidly through El Dorado County.

In order to test, check in at the library building's main security desk and bring a photo ID with you. Testing is encouraged regardless of vaccination or booster status.

Anyone who experiences any COVID symptoms should NOT enter campus for any reason. On-campus, indoors testing is for asymptomatic individuals only. If you have symptoms, LTCC provides a safe, off-site testing alternative. To arrange for this, come to campus and park in the reserved “COVID Symptomatic” parking zone in front of the library building in the main parking lot, and then call (530) 541-4660 x. 154 during testing hours/days. Staff will meet you at your vehicle to test.

Students who test positive are asked to notify a faculty member or college administrator so LTCC can perform contact tracing and advise others about possible exposures. College staff and faculty who test positive should contact Interim Risk Manager Maryellen Sanchez at as soon as possible.

LTCC is not providing testing for community members at this time. Information about where to find testing locally is available on LTCC's Coronavirus webpage.
