Updated COVID-19 Protocols (ENG) (SPA) | Positive Test Result Protocols (ENG) (SPA)

Lake Tahoe Community College will continue to provide free COVID testing to asymptomatic students, staff, and Child Development Center participants and families at least through Thursday, February 24, 2022.

Testing will be available Monday Feb. 14 through Wednesday Feb. 16 from 8am-1:45pm in the Aspen Room (library building). The college is closed for the Lincoln and Washington birthday holidays from Friday, Feb. 18 through Monday, Feb. 21. Testing will be available again from Tuesday Feb. 22 through Thursday Feb. 24.

College employees are required to test at least once per week. While students are not required to test, they are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this free testing to better protect themselves and others.

Students or employees who have COVID symptoms should not enter campus for testing. Instead, arrive to campus and park in the reserved “COVID Symptomatic” parking zone in front of the library building in the main parking lot, then call (530) 541-4660 x. 154 during open testing hours/days for assistance.

Anyone who tests positive is asked to contact LTCC’s Interim Risk Manager Maryellen Sanchez at sanchez@ltcc.edu so we can conduct contact tracing and provide you with next steps for how and when to return to campus. You must be symptom-free and test negative before you can return indoors to LTCC's campus. Both students and their instructors will receive a “return to class” notification via LTCC email when these requirements have been met and clearance to return has been granted.

LTCC is not providing testing for community members at this time. Information about where to find testing locally is available on LTCC's Coronavirus webpage.
