Important Registration Notice
ATTN: If you have filled out either a 2010-11 fee waiver (BOGFW) application or a 2010-11 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), and you are billed when you register for classes, please contact the Financial Aid Office, at (530) 541-4660 ext. 236 OR shaferL@ltcc.edu, to see if you are eligible for a fee waiver.

Federal Tax Credit

If you did not receive your 1098T verification, you may contact the Admissions & Records office to see if the verification form has been returned for incorrect address.



To comply with federal tax credit legislation, Lake Tahoe Community College will mail a 1098T verification form in January to students who have paid qualifying fees during the previous year. This information is also reported to the Internal Revenue Service.  

Lake Tahoe Community College cannot determine if you qualify for a tax credit.  The financial data provided is to assist you in computing amounts that may be eligible for the American Opportunity Tax Credit.  It does not represent tax or legal advice from the college.  You should contact the Internal Revenue Service or a professional tax preparer about personal income tax situations.

NOTE:  You will not receive a 1098T form if you did not pay any eligible fees during the previous year.
